Xinghui Xia
I am working as Changjiang Distinguished Professor of the State Key Laboratory of Water Environment Simulation in School of Environment at the Beijing Normal University. I am also a recipient of the Distinguished Young Scholars by National Natural Science Foundation of China. My research mainly focuses on environmental pollution analysis and control in aquatic systems, especially associated with the interactions among water, sediment, and pollutants; transportation, biotransformation, mitigation and impact of organic compounds; and influence of climate change on water quality. In my career, I have led more than 30 research projects and published more than 170 peer reviewed SCI papers in international journals including Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications, PNAS, Environmental Science & Technology, and Water Research. These papers have resulted in 6000+ citations with the H-Index of 47 (Web of Science). Now, I serve as associate editors for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry and Journal of Environmental Informatics.
